My Thoughts......Dinosaur DVDs

This is a DVD about a man who travels back in time to bring the extinct animals back with him to give them a second chance of life. They put the dinosaurs in a holding pen until their new home is done. It teaches you about how the dinosaurs lived back then and how they might live today.

Jurassic Park is a good movie to show you how dinosaurs fight for survival. It also shows you how hard it would be for us if they were alive with us still today.

Here is another Jurassic Park DVD that has 25 people going to an mysterious island to capture dinosaurs. There are 4 people who try to stop the others from capturing the dinosaurs and putting them in a zoo. But the one dinosaur they were able to capture, broke free and rampaged through the city.

Deinosuchus the super alligator

The Deinosuchus roamed in the United States from New Jersey to Montana during the Upper Cretaceous Period. It liked coastal marshlands and swamps. Deinosuchus is the biggest alligator also known as the super crocodile.  It's as big as a one school bus and as long two school buses. (It is 40 feet long.) Deinosuchus's tooth is as big as a truck tire and it's head is as long a dinning room table. Deinosuchus and all alligators and crocodiles do the death roll to kill their prey. It was a carnivore and a scavenger. When an unsuspecting dinosaur was taking a drink from the water were Deinosuchus lived, he would bite down on the dinosaur and drag him underwater and drown him. When the salty ocean waters made their way inland and flooded the marshlands and swamps, the Deinosuchus were unable to adapt to their new environment.  The Super Crocodile Deinosuchus went extinct.

      Stegosaurus

Stegosaurus can defend it's self from Allosaurus but if Allosaurus evolves to Tyrannosaurus Rex but most people call them T-Rex for short. When T-Rex fights Stegosaurus, the battle is to the death and who wins the battle gets the turf. Stegosaurus has 17 bone plates and 4 spikes on its tail. The three places where its bone plates are its neck, back, and tail. Stegosaurus likes to eat plants like all the other plant-eaters.http://www.history.com/shows/jurassic-fight-club-archived/interactives/dinopedia

      Small and Deadly Raptors

Utahraptor is the second largest raptor in the world and he was about 21 feet long. It had one toe that was extremely sharp that was 1' and 3" long. This toe made it easier for them to kill their prey because it would run after its prey then jump on it and stab it with its' 2 sharp toes. They only travel in packs when their babies hatch.

Deinonychus hunts in packs and is 10 feet long. Since they hunt in packs, it makes it easier for them to kill dinosaurs like the Tenontosaurus. With its razor sharp teeth and claws, it makes it easier for them to bite through other dinosaurs' flesh. It has feathers on itself. It has chicken like legs and hands. The Deinonychus has a long tail for balance in the air.

Microraptor is very unique because it has 2 sets of wings, its front (its arms) and its back (the legs). It loves to eat bugs, small reptiles and small mammals. It has small sharp claws and small sharp teeth they used it tear its prey apart.

      Spinosaurus

Spinosaurus has a long sail on its back that was 6 feet and 6 inches tall. It has a long mouth, long arms, curvy claws, sharp teeth, and long tail. It has the ability to swim and the only thing you see when it swims is its sail. Its favorite thing to eat is fish and other times it eats other dinosaurs. Spinosaurus is 49 feet tall which makes it 9 feet taller than T-Rex!
